Hamar and Environs Housing cooperative (HOBBL) is a housing cooperative. Our duty is first and foremost to secure houses and apartments in different price ranges for our members. HOBBL has 10,000 members and manages and administrates more than 5,000 apartments and houses. Members of the housing cooperative are entitled to first refusal when associated apartments come up for sale. The apartments are allocated according to seniority of membership for otherwise equal offers/prices.
Membership entitles you to first refusal on approximately 5,000 apartments in the Hamar region, holiday homes in the high mountains of Hedmark in Norway and apartments in Amadores in Gran Canaria. As well as this, the right to first refusal also applies to 39 other housing cooperatives in Norway.
Membership also entitles you to discounts in many shops. The membership can be transferred to children to give them an advantage in the property market. The membership fee is NOK 250 (30 Euro) per year. The actual share costs an additional NOK 400 one-off payment (48 Euro). Membership of HOBBL brings many benefits.
